Communing

When I first began this blog, I sub-titled it “Finding Peace Within Ourselves”. I had a specific purpose in mind and planned to write about different ways of doing exactly that — finding peace within ourselves. But, as so often happens, that particular burst of creativity was soon supplanted by something else, and this blog became a place to “Share My World” and then later, a place to just ramble on about this and that by answering random questions from a little Q & A book I bought from Amazon.

Today, I’m answering a question but also getting back to the original purpose — for one day, at least. The question involved the most recent purchase I’ve made, and that’s an easy one. I made a purchase this morning from a site called Commune. The link takes you to a Welcome page, from there you have to request an invitation to join. I’ve made my request and hope to receive my invitation soon.

I’m not sure where or how I came across Commune, but through my reading and the different spiritual practices that are part of my life — meditation, spiritual study, yoga and more — I found myself signing up for a free class called Ecstatic Breathwork which is offered through Commune. Yes, it’s all about breathing in and breathing out.

The free class began on Monday. I had no idea what to expect, really, other than simply doing a bit of breathing in and breathing out. I’ve done some breathwork exercises in the past, and I figured this class might be similar. As it turns out, it’s really different from anything I’ve done before, and I am really enjoying it.

At the conclusion of Day 1 (Body — The First Reality) I considered buying the complete course. After Day 2 (Thoughts – What You Think is What You Get) I knew I definitely wanted to purchase the course. Today, after finishing Day 3 (Entering the Heart — Cultivating a Chosen Feeling State), I clicked the purchase link.

I not only bought Ecstatic Breathwork, I took advantage of a special offer and purchased a course called Deep Relaxation.

If you’re interested, you can still get free access to the course.

Just click here.

Breathing In

NOTE: The link will expire after August 23, so if you click then, you probably won’t get anything.

Even if you don’t want to try this free course, I’d still highly recommend checking it out and learning more about it. It truly is a powerful program. And, no, I’m not getting paid to promote this class or any other. I just feel it’s something I want to share with others.
